Having a flu and fever. U-huk..huk..lucky Mr. Cough did not visit me…Phew… People said that having a sickness is a sign of testing from the Lord…whether or not we accept it willingly or not.. a sign of forgiveness from the Lord.. should we accept the test with wide arm open..

Well…what more should I say other than asking for much more patient and forgiveness for all the sins that I have done…May this sickness bring more goodness and barakah to me in the future…God-willingly.

The Independence

We used to hear in the television saying that “Malaysia is an independent country, thus as Malaysian, we should appreciate it, the peaceful and harmony in our country”.

Indeed, we should thankful to God for having such situation here.

However, looking into the society was it really we are having peace and harmony life? Was it really that we are independence from all the imperialism?

The colonists that who took over Malaysia has gone so long ago, but yet they still chained us with something that hard to broken until today. Bounded into the education system, economy, financial and even culture, Muslim has been a step behind of all these. It seems like all the system has been  blended in such way it took Muslim far away from the actual teaching that been prescribed in the Book.

Chained in the temporarily fantasy, bonded with lust, appealing with mankind honoured, faded future, the situation changes has been jeopardising the value of Islam and the faith to the One God.

So where is the independence, when some of Muslim youth had been living in rehabilitation centre for having drugs and attitude problem. Would they able to shout for their independence when the abortion and illegal child statistic keep increasing?

This is not just an expression but it hopes could be a reminder especially for me to strengthen myself with knowledge and faith foundation and hope that one day I would be able to  persuade myself and others to the goodness and prevent the evil things, amal makruf nahi mungkar.

It hope that this thought would remind me the true meaning of independence in terms of Islam as well as faith.

We are independent soul if we are able to change the mind thinking, feeling and attitude from what we used to be to the blissful way of Islam. From the non-directive system and culture to the way as prescribed by Quran, not just easily affected by the changes of current trend.

Indeed, we are not just an independent country, but most important thing, we are independent soul, inside out, sticking to the rules and regulation, govern by the Law of God.

Happy Independence Day, Malaysia. I am proud to be Malaysian.

Crushes of life

Have you ever been in a crash? Not a crush of accident, but a crush of heart. Have you?As a human, we might be having a crash, at least once in a life time.

Today I would like to spill on my crushes. Haha..it feel a bit weird, but that is what on my mind now..

My first crush was I was in form three..actually it is more to secret admirer..the guy was an inspiration for me to learn . We were both librarian, so we work together in the library but we never talk to each other. We keep looking to each other whenever the counter party didn’t see. Unfortunately, he moved to another school after PMR, and the story ended there. I found him in facebook and we sometimes chat with each other but the memory never been discussed again. Yet, he and I know about that.

The second crush was I was in form four. It begins as a rival in study; I hate him because of his good skills in geography. Yeah really hate him because he got all the attention for it. Eventually the hate turns into secret admirer. I will turn into blushes whenever seeing him in the school corridor. Though that, we are still rival in our study competing to be the best student in our year. We keep put small notes with song lyrics under the desk, looking to each other with no expression yet the heart bumping. Yes, this crush helps me to work harder in my study, I tried very hard to beat him in study and yes I beat him. Thanks a lot.

The last time I fall into crush is when I work with CIMB, not with the colleagues but with the auditor. He is someone that is so soft spoken, very patient such a contra with me. Here the same happens, a faceless expression, unemotional statement, it just looking to each other with blushers with all means deep inside heart. Not even one knows but we know, though not even a single words spoken to express the feels. Ands that is the last time I have my crushes until now.

I am still wonder will I ever been in crush someday in the future? I am looking forward to that day J

Do you make every effort to attain something you want?

A quote from Harun Al Yahya:

One of the most important features of human nature is to “want.” Allah endows human soul an unending desire towards beauties and blessings. There is not a single person in this world who will not be pleased from any blessings or any good being done.

However a great majority of people want their wishes to come true without making any effort, exercising any wisdom or facing any difficulties. They simply want blessings to be ready before them; they want others to show the best of morality to them; they do not want to be afflicted by any trouble, difficulty or poverty; they want to sort out everything easily; they want everything to happen as they wish; they want diseases, weaknesses and any goal that demands any endeavour, patience and will to be distant to them…

The fact is however, while Allah creates a tendency in human soul towards goodness, blessings and beauties, He also demands him to “make effort” to attain them. Allah promises His Garden only to those servants of Him who spend their lives striving to attain goodness and beauty by exercising their wisdom and labouring. In the Qur’an, Allah reminds the importance of showing this incessant serious effort that will last for a lifetime: 
 

But as for anyone who desires the Hereafter, and strives for it with the striving it deserves, being a believer, the striving of such people will be gratefully acknowledged. (Surat all-Isra’, 19)

Wealth and sons are the embellishment of the life of the world. But, in your Lord’s sight, right actions which are lasting bring a better reward and are a better basis for hope. (Surat al-Kahf, 46)

This is  a certain fact that a person who wants to enjoy beauties in this life and the Hereafter must never forget. The responsibility of a believer is to make effort until the end of his life, to strive,race to the good and get exhausted in this path:

For truly with hardship comes ease;truly with hardship comes ease.

So when you have finished, work on,and make your Lord your goal! 

(Surat al-Inshirah, 5-8)

Desiring something but merely waiting, doing nothing is not a form of morality that a believer can assume. For instance if he wants the morality of Islam to spread over the world, he must endeavour for it. If he wants goodness to spread among people, he must assume that good morality himself and display an exemplary morality himself. If he wants a tidy and clean environment, he takes the initiative and makes the cleaning himself.  If he wants to experience love and respect, then he must adopt a morality himself that deserves respect, love and friendship. If he wants to be treated with good morality, then he must display a morality that can teach people good morality with all its details.

However sometimes a person makes every effort to attain something but as a requisite of the trial in this world he may not attain his every wish. But Allah commands His servants to pray to Him without despairing, no matter what the conditions may be:

..Call on Him fearfully and eagerly. Allah’s mercy is close to the good-doers. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 56)

“…Do not despair of solace from Allah. No one despairs of solace from Allah except for people who are unbelievers.” (Surah Yusuf, 87)

Consequently out of his trust in Allah and aware of His infinite might, a person of faith continues to strive and pray until the end of his life with no despair. If something he wishes is not fulfilled, he knows that Allah creates this with goodness and wisdom; that our Lord knows the best and the most beneficial for us. Thus with ease of heart He submits to Allah. He experiences the ease of putting his trust in Allah with the hope that his sincere effort that only desires Allah’s consent will be definitely rewarded in the best form at Allah’s Sight.

In the Qur’an Allah mentions the kind of people who patiently desire all through their lives but who immediately lose their faith and hope in the face of any ordeal. This is just the state of those who make effort not for Allah’s consent but merely to attain blessings.

Man never tires of praying for the goodand if evil touches him, he despairs and loses hope. But if We let him taste mercy from Us    after he has suffered hardship, then he says, ‘This is my due.I do not think that the Hour is going to come. And if am returned to my Lord, I will definitely find the best reward with Him.’ But We will inform those who are unbelievers of what they did and make them suffer a ruthless punishment. (Surah Fussilat, 49-50)

Those who want to attain goodness and blessings must never forget the following important facts:

Desiring goodness and blessings with sincerity and merely for Allah’s approval…

- Never forgetting that it is not an attitude becoming of a believer to ask for something, but then awaiting for it without making any effort, exercising wisdom and facing difficulties…

- Never daunting in putting in trust to Allah even if one’s wishes are not fulfilled…

- Never despairing; calling on Allah fearfully and eagerly until the end of one’s life…

Menagih Kasih

Maahad Muar in memory.

This is a song or we called it nasyid that being so popular at that time. Yes, this is the kind of song that we sang in school. With dessert rhyme, acapalo  (not remembered what does it sound), we had a great song writer in school. I remembered that my time, there were Abang Fiza Rahman, Farid Khalid etc. They are so famous in composing the songs, and it was really nice. Me myself also been involving in singing the song, what unbelievable, right?

Believe it. 

Praise to God

Praise to the God for what He gave to me. Alhamdulillah. I’m so much thankful to Him for the result he gave to me for this semester. Despite of having so much problems and chaos in life, I did it. We did it. My special thanks go to my family that understands and compromise with my pack schedule. Yes, I took our valued time to complete this task, and this success is for you. Along the way, my special thank to my beloved friend, Alina Marian, going to be addressed as Dr soon (God willingly, we will). You are there when no body seeing me as a human, giving me support and shoulder to cry on. God willingly my friend, we will pursue our dreams soon. We will walk along the hall of fame with smiles that not going to faded away. I’m looking forward to that day.

 

For those who see me as non-human, not having brain or what so ever, I shall one day show your perception is wrong.. And thanks that your perception has make me work harder..:J

What to write????

Was the picture confusing you..? Well..It does to me..

I am so much confuse. I am in the middle of preparing of proposal for the next chapter, a paper that might change people’s perception on me. But the thing is I don’t know what should I write, I haven’t made my mind yet on the topic that should be discussed on. I had few things in my mind like, change management, corporate social responsibility, renewable energy etc. The things is I would love to write on the things that I like the most, like blogging, shopping, fashions etc, but do these contributes to value added? I wanted to write something that eventually brings some value to someone, companies or even to my country. (owh..that is soooo positive of me)

The thing is I don’t want to write about a dull topic which might bored and make me stop in the middle of the way. Well, it might be happening as I can’t stay positive all the way, right? The whole 3 years of the same topic might gives me pretty bad impression, but that is how the paper works. So I should at least write something that is interesting or at least I would love to..

Owh God, this is so mess.. I need to find a topic but I don’t know what..If there is someone there to guide me…(hoping….)

I found this song when I read Versus by Hlovate. Yes I was really inspired by Hlovate’s writing. Her writing was not only a story but it full of good teachings. This Versus story was about a love between two skaters which both of them turn to the His way but at the same time not turning back from the scene. It is a love story that inspires me. How His teaching could really care on what we call a relationship. It is a purely love, relationship that is built towards His path, and I hope one day, it’s the same love and relationship that going to be happen with me.

This song is listening by AO when he is having a doubt of whether he is taking the correct way by marrying Min. It‘s the song that AO listen the night before they have their solemnization. It’s the song that makes AO convinced that Min is the best for him, it’s the right choice, and Min is really the best for him.

It’s the song that I hope my other half would listen and understand. God-willingly,

Oh No..No..No..

Oh no..NO..NO..NO.. I was just found out that the new semester will only started in September instead of June. If it is only started by September, hmm I will only complete my MBA by December, if it took four month to complete or next February if it took six montn in a semester..Oh NO NO NO..

 

All the plans whall have to be revised. Ghee..I hate that. I need to rework my plan. What to do first? Wait until my MBA complete in the end of the year? Then apply for a tutor or lecturer and find an offer to complete doctorate? Wow..it seems too late. A doctorate program would take at least 2-3 years to complete. At that time, I was what? Thirty three thirty four? Huhu..such a scary things to ponder..

Or I ignored things and apply the tutor or lecturer post now? Which seem ridiculous since they wanted the MBA transcript for the application..

 

Oh I hate when they ruined my plan. What should I do?
